Quantum Break Metacritic

Do not buy this game. I gnored all of the negative reviews thinking it couldn't be that bad.

Another great game gameplay compilation:) Sorry for the subtitles on the first bit. Apr 06, 2016  This doesn’t necessarily mean that Quantum Break is a bad game. In fact, quite the opposite. Scoring a 78 on Metacritic is a sign of a solid, positive reception.

I wa very wrong. I have a I5 4690k OC'd to 4.5GHz and a 980ti OC'd to 1500MHz and i cannot do anything to prevent the hellish stutter, even turning the game down to low settings at 1080p and locking the framerate to 30 does not stop the game from being literally unplayable. It actually manages to Do not buy this game.

It actually manages to give me motion sicknes. No 21:9 support whatsoever, fullscreen stretches the game to fill the space making everything distorted instead of just leaving the black borders. Even on ultra at 1440p, the game looks blurry and un-detailed. I suspect that the game renders at 720p and sumply upscales. I just got my refund and regret even waiting for the long download and install time. The game is far from optimised, I run a OC i7 4770K with 16GB RAM and a 6GB VRAM Titan Black and the game is installed on an SSD, this rig should be more than enough to run this game at 1080p/ultra at 60fps.

I'm reaching 45fps tops with stutters. And yes the dynamic resolution upscaled from 720, just like the potatobox one is here along with the motionblur and no option to turn it off. In fact a whole lot of standard pc options are gone and the whole UWP system prevents the community or yourself to remedy (no pun intended) alot of it's faults. If Microsoft is serious about getting back into pc gaming, they need to get their act together. This is an unacceptable pc port. As for the game itself it is mediocre at best.

You spend about a third of the time doing the standard console actiongame slow walk looking at things and talking, a third watching live action cutscenes and a third using some powers and shooting the same 5 or so different enemies the entire game. The Powers you have are cool but are pretty similar to eachother and the action turns bland pretty fast. You do have some choices to make but none of them matter in the end.

Add to that the bland and boring gameplay, a replay is out of the question. If you really want to see the cutscenes from the other choice you are better off watching it on youtube than playing through this game again. The story is not bad but it's pretty 'meh'.

Instead, Mae comes armed with a deadly arsenal of ghost-busting weapons, from rocket launchers to razor sharp boomerangs. But these aren’t your average poltergeists. Conventional methods won’t cut it with these ghosts. Take on the role of Mae Barrons an Extreme Exorcist with extreme measures. Extreme exorcism gameplay. At the end of each round, a ghost appears and mimics your every move from the round before. Her supernatural skills are called upon when everything and everyone else has failed to rid a haunted house of its ghostly presence.

As for any good words about this game all I can say is the game does have some nice lighting and it looks pretty good despite an upscaled 720p (although not as good as it could), also the acting is top notch. It's definately not a buy imo at full price.

Why do Microsoft want to kill PC gaming whilst keep reporting to the press that they love PC gaming and want to improve and support it. UWP is a terrible idea for Games. No full screen, no crossfire / SLI, no VSYNC. Poor FPS, with no optimisations and no modding.

You are not apple, and apple are no longer apple without Jobs. Closed ecosystems are not what we want. It's a bug filled mess, but Remedy is making a (slow) effort to patch it. They basically just took an Xbox game and transplanted it into a PC release with no regard for the multitudes of different PCs that would be playing it. If you have the exact same specs as an Xbox then it's playable. If you have any different type of hardware in your system then you're out of luck.

Super Sacrificing his own well being to save his damsel in distress. Super Meat Boy brings the old school difficulty of classic titles and stream lines them down to the essential no BS straight forward twitch reflex platforming.Ramping up in difficulty from hard to soul crushing SMB will drag Meat boy though haunted hospitals, salt factories and even hell itself.

It took them 2 months to make it playable for AMD processor owners. As for gameplay, it copies several different games.

They've taken the 'TV Show' aspect of 2010's Alan Wake for the story, and borrowed the time manipulation combat from Capcom's 2013 game Remember Me. What was meant to be groundbreaking just looks dated and derivative.

The graphics even look last generation, which makes it puzzling as to why the game runs so poorly. In conclusion, it's still not recommended, even months after release.

A revolutionary entertainment experience that blurs the line between television and gaming. With Quantum Break, Remedy Games delivers an action-packed, fast paced game in which you bend and shape time in order to survive. How you play the game shapes a personalized version of the television show. Watching the show gives you strategies and insights that will impact the way you play the game and helps you discover unique content within the game. Together, the game and the show deliver a holistic entertainment experience, possible on Xbox One and Windows 10. As we all Know, this is based on game designed for Xbox one.

The Response of this game is moderate apart from the graphics work, which is really awesome, kudos to 'Remedy Entertainment'. The Previous products of remedy entertainment such as Max Payne, Agents of Storm are my favorite ones. Coming to the show, the negative aspect that I think is its lagging a proper introduction about the Quantum Break but in the game they briefly narrate it and easy to understand. In order to watch the show we have to play the game. So for non-gamers it's a bit of a setback. I have seen four episodes of Quantum Break and as per my view it is good, I actually thought Patrick Heusinger (Liam Burke in the series)is the Hero of the Sitcom but in game Shawn Ashmore (Jack Joyce) is the Hero.
