Survivor Z starts out as a text based RPG, and transforms into a real world Massive multi player RPG that utilizes real world location data and hundreds of hours of cloud based content that keep players engaged longer than any game out there. New challenges added via the cloud and player rivalries will keep this game on the home screen of your iOS device. From Ed Anderson, the creator of 'ZDAY Survival Simulator', 'Survivor Z' is a text-based Role Playing Game set 311 days after the ZDAY apocalypse has wiped out 90% of the world's population. Gameplay begins with an exciting strategy-based prologue, where the player has to make it home to the safety of their ZDAY bunker. Then, fast forward almost a year, running low on food and water, our survivor is forced to emerge, only to find that the world has changed. The population is decimated, and the dead roam the earth in incredible numbers. Every decision a survivor makes can be the difference between life and death, and even the most seemingly trivial mistake can mean doom.Excellent Player resources and help from the developers can be found on player forums: in Survivor Z expands on the concept of its predecessor, 'ZDAY Survival Simulator'.
While relying on the familiar text based model, Survivor Z introduces a vastly improved and incredibly robust game engine that gives the survivor complete control over their weapons, inventory, and armor. In addition, players can use their items in context to complete challenges, as well as find an ally with non-player character survivors in the game.Survivor Z is the first game of its kind, combining the intellectual challenge of a text based RPG with the fast paced action of a board game. Hockey4Life36, Great game, but could use some workThis game is a lot of fun and very addicting, however there are a few improvements that could be made. First, every time I try to access my clan chat, it doesn't work. Second, when traveling with several survivors and you come across zombies, the survivors with guns should prioritize their attacks and attack the larger groups of zombies first instead of taking out a single zombie when there is a horde of 8 behind that one. Third, in the safe house or strongholds items should automatically be sorted based on function.
I have over 5000 items in my safe house and there is no assortment to them at all. Finally, when moving things from your inventory Into the safe house or stronghold you should be able to store all of a single item at once instead of dragging each individual one over, as this can become very time consuming. Like I said this game is incredibly fun, but there are a few upgrades that could be made in order to make it a 5/5. Madhabdhb, WhyHad to ruin a great game by making it 'interactive' I don't see why I would need to go to different places I would need a car to get to when it doesn't explain how my survivor managed to find a way to wherever and on top of that once you clear all nearby locations you can't progress anymore unless you can find the time to play this game when you're out doing better things to begin with so why did the creators think this would be a cool little twist because it's not.
There's no reason you had to do this, okay concept but why not have all locations available you just need to have car or other means of transportation to get there. Then you have the offline version which obviously hasn't been worked on since this crap came out because there's still only storyline regardless of what difficulty and setup you choose so I can't play that as an alternative so I'm hoping you guys will take notice and change this because this version already has a lower rating and less downloads so you have to be doing something wrong and I know I'm not the only one who finds this to be a problem. Fox 2A, High PotentialI believe that since the latest update that makes multiplayer somewhat playable, there are so many new doors that can be opened to new opportunities to the game. Although it is still a bit glitchy and some of the features and items are kind of useless right now, I believe that if the developers stay active and actually listen to the community to make this game with the players than this will truly be something remarkable. I myself have many ideas specifically on the multiplayer part that I would like to see implemented into the game and updated to make it so much more enjoyable!
My high hopes make me rate this a 5, but the fact that this was the LAST major update and the fact that to fully play ever aspect of the game you need to spend too much real money is already preparing me for disappointment and makes me keep the rating at a 4.
